Hi!
1. Are infant seats required for children 3 and under when riding either the Waikiki Trolley, “The Bus”, or taxis?
2. Is a rental car generally recommended in Waikiki? We’re staying at the ResortQuest Waikiki Sunset for a week. We have 2 families with small children. We heard parking around Waikiki (outside our hotel) is expensive and hard to find. Is the trolley/bus/walking a viable option if we plan to spend most of our time in the Waikiki area?
Thanks!
Charlie

Being a haole from the mainland, I am wondering if you have any suggestions on where I could do some surfing without being pounded by the waves/locals of the North Shore and without being shoulder hopped by the tourists of Waikiki. My skill level is average to above average.
Aloha,
TJ

Thanks for your previous answers! You’ve really helped us plan our vacation! It can be so hard to find answers - The service you provide is too good to be true!
Last question.
I can’t seem to find any car rental agency that has full-size vans available (seats 9). This would be for pickup at HNL. Do you happen to know of any?
Thanks again!
Charlie

Hi,
I have travelled just about everywhere with my dog. We’ve never had too many problems when flying on airplanes, except between Memorial-Labor Day, when it’s just too hot for them.
Can I bring my dog for a vacation to Hawaii? I’ve heard things about quarantine laws, but I’ve also heard that it was done away with. Can you help me with this? Going to the beach just wouldn’t be the same if my dog couldn’t come.
Thanks, Jessica & Timber

So who has a nice luau- show and meal- in Waikiki- that won’t break the bank for a young couple who really can’t afford to even be in Hawaii? This would be the one “event” they would be doing other then the freebie stuff available. Which by the way do you have a list of the freebie stuff to do? Like enjoying the beach, Fort De Russy, etc? Is it possible to walk into hotels you aren’t staying at and watching their demonstrations, etc?

I HAVE CLIENTS COMING IN ON CELEBRITY CRUISE IN APRIL AND NEED TO GET FROM PIER TO THE NEW PACIFIC AVIATION MUSEUM AT PEARL HARBOR. I WAS TOLD THAT CABS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE AND TOURS ALL START AT HOTELS IN WAKIKI. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

I have two more questions for you.
Many years ago when I was ther we went to a really neat mini golf park. I do not remember the name or where it was. Are there any mini golf courses?
Is there someplace other than Wikiki Beach to get catameran rides?

I have heard that there are many nice Bed and Breakfast spots on Maui. Do you know of any nice, and inexpensive, places a couple could stay for a few nights on Maui?

Again, which luau is closest to the Waikiki beach, we are staying at a hotel near the beach and would prefer to go to a luau within 5 miles or so of the beach, if that is possible.
