Can you recommend a hotel that’s near Waikiki Beach for under a hundred dollars a night?
One that comes to mind would be Queen Kapiolani Hotel. While its official address is along Kapahulu Avenue, it’s basically just steps from Kalakaua Avenue (the road that runs right along Waikiki Beach). Cross Kalakaua Avenue and you’re basically stepping on Waikiki Beach sand.

Are there hotels near Honolulu Airport? Would it be better to stay at one instead of one near the Honolulu and Waikiki area?
Yes. The Plaza Hotel (a Bestwestern property) is located about half a mile from Honolulu Airport, along Nimitz Highway.
