What’s the best way to get to Ala Moana from Waikiki?
Aside from taking the bus, a cab to Ala Moana Center from Waikiki, I believe the best way to get to Ala Moana (and Victoria Ward Centers for that matter as well) from Waikiki is by taking the Waikiki Trolley’s Pink Line.

Is there an “outlet” type of mall on Oahu?
Yes. Waikele Center and Waikele Premium Outlets is, I believe, the only outlet mall on Oahu. The mall has around 50 or so outlet stores ranging from name brands such as Armani Exchange and Banana Republic to local favorites such as Crazy Shirts and Blue Hawaii Surf.

Aside from taking a flight, can I get on a boat to go to another island?
Unfortunately, no. At the present time, the only way to get to the other island is by plane. There are no ferry services that can take you to the other islands within the State. You can, however, charter a boat if you wish to do so.
