What’s a “Loco Moco?”
A “Loco Moco” is a popular local dish consisting (usually) of two scoops of white rice, two hamburger patties topped with two sunny-side up eggs smothered in brown gravy and a scoop of macaroni salad. Served anytime of the day you can find this island favorite wherever “plate lunches” are usually sold, such as L&L Hawaiian Barbecue (L&L Drive-Inn).
